Higher Category Theory, Homotopy Theory and their interactions; Homological Algebra.

· In 2007 I spent three months as invited researcher at the Fields Institute Toronto (Canada) during the Thematic Program on Geometric Applications of Homotopy Theory.

· I co-organized with Steve Lack the Category Theory special session at the 50th Annual Meeting of the Australian Mathematical Society.

I am a research fellow in the Department of Mathematics of Macquarie University, holding a postdoctoral fellowship from the Australian Research Council. I am a member of the Centre for Australian Category Theory (CoACT). Previous to this, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at SUNY at Buffalo , USA. I obtained my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Warwick UK.
