I'm a PhD graduate within the Cotutelle Framework at the Institute of Applied Informatics, Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland) and the Centre for Language Technology (CLT), Macquarie University (Australia).

My research interests are in the area of information extraction, named entity recognition, temporal expression extraction and event recognition. In particular, I have been working on:

• conjunction disambiguation in named entities,
• time expression recognition and normalisation,
• cross-document coreference,
• information extraction in the financial domain (stock exchange).
