A fully funded PhD position is now available for Australian and International students who would like to pursue their research in the area of mathematical, especially number theoretic, aspects of cryptography. Candidates must demonstrate:

strong background in mathematics, especially in algebra and number theory (substantiated by evidences of formal education in these areas);
knowledge or ability to learn one or more computational packages (Magma, Maple, Pari, etc.);
ability to conduct independent and dedicated research.
