Welcome!

Sydney Chatashali is a completely voluntary, Sydney based effort to facilitate learning of the Oriya language in the Sydney region. Although the driving force behind it is a desire to teach Oriya language to children of Oriya heritage, every interested person (child or adult, of any background) is genuinely welcome.

To make learning fun, classes are held in parks and beaches -- and Sydney is full of them -- followed by a game of cricket or soccer in which children and adults happily participate.
