Ethics

Research candidates whose research activities involve human or animal subjects, and work in which issues of biosafety are involved, must apply for ethics clearance through the relevant ethics or Biosafety Committee before commencing research data collection.

Candidates should consult the Animal Ethics Committee, Human Ethics Committee and Biosafety Committee to determine whether your research is subject to the respective guidelines and review processes.

Please also see the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.

Follow the links for presentations on Animal Ethics and Human Ethics issues given during the Faculty Commencement Program held on the 27th February.
