ScienceID

Your ScienceID is the username and password you use to authenticate to most IT resources within the Faculty of Science. These include:

• Desktops Computers
• Fileservers and Unix Systems
• Equipment Bookings
• Password-protected Intranet Pages

Getting a ScienceID

Your ScienceID is created when you join the Faculty or by getting an existing user (typically your supervisor or Departmental administrator) to request a ScienceID for you using the ScienceID Account Request Form.

ScienceID Guest Accounts

Any Faculty staff with a valid ScienceID can create temporary ScienceID-guest accounts. These accounts have limited access into the Science systems and NO associated email address. Visit https://support.science.mq.edu.au/Staff/guest.asp to create a guest account with an expiry date.
