A braiding for Pointed Groups

The category of pointed groups becomes monoidal using coproduct (=free product) of groups and product of points. We show that there is a braiding here which can be used to relate to some ``classical'' results about braids and free group automorphisms. A preprint is available entitled Braids among the groups.
