Morita Rivista

Ross Street – 28 October 1998

For my Algebra IIIB class this half year I had promised rings, modules, tensor products, Wedderburn structure theorems. It is possible to do the last of these without tensor products but I decided to apply tensor products to Morita theory and then to use this for the Wedderburn theory. Some monoidal bicategorical thinking guided my lecture preparation and I thought this could be of interest to category theorists.
