Wood fusion for closed comonads

In moving offices and tidying up, I uncovered Richard Wood's paper [Coalgebras for closed comonads, Communications in Algebra 6(14) (1978) 1497--1504] which I had not remembered at all. I will discuss the concept involved and its connection to what we have been calling fusion in monoidal categories.
