Traces in endobicategories and quantized link homology

In this talk I will give a gentle introduction to the theory of horizontal traces (also known as factorization homology) for bicategories with an endofunctor. As an application of this theory, I define a new triply graded link homology theory, with a quantum sl(2) action intertwining the action by cobordisms. This is a joint work with K. Putyra and S. Wehrli.
