Model categories and homotopy (co)limits

In this talk, we explore the concept of model categories which provides an abstract setting for homotopy theory. We then introduce the construction of homotopy (co)limits via homotopy category and derived functors. The topic is a follow up with the recent student meeting and is in the expository nature based on Dwyer and Spalinski's 'Homotopy Theories and model categories'.
