Actions of Coxeter groups and their braid groups on (higher) categories

I'll discuss some results and speculations around the subject of the title. There is a rather intriguing link with coherence conditions in braided monoidal 2-categories ("Zamolodchikov relations") etc. This is joint work with Ben Elias, and some of it can be found in our paper "Diagrammatics for Coxeter groups and their braid groups" from a few years ago.
