Cobraidings for monoidal comonads

Steve Lack – 27 September 2017

When a comonad on a monoidal category is monoidal, the category of coalgebras inherits a lifted monoidal structure. I shall study when this monoidal category of coalgebras is braided. An example is the category of comodules over a cobraided (=coquasitriangular) bialgebra. I will also relate this to braidings on the corresponding "cowarped" skew monoidal category.
