Education
Through our Partnerships in Education program, organisations are invited to participate in programs aimed at enriching the educational experience and opportunity for students at Macquarie University.
Undergraduate Projects are undertaken by honours students, and by 3rd year BTech, BCompSci and Optoelectronics students. Projects provided and overseen by companies give students the opportunity to participate in and gain industry experience.
Prizes & Scholarships Support current and prospective students through undergraduate prizes and scholarships.
Work Experience is given to undergraduate vacation students. Companies can sponsor an Internship or Cadetship program for our graduates. In 2001, Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems Australia, Novell and Compuware each offered a cadetship program for our top IT graduates.
International Internships enable companies to become a partner in providing abroad and exchange students at Macquarie University.
Postgraduate Projects can be funded through the ARC Linkage Grants scheme. They provide an opportunity for higher-degree students to work on research and development initiatives.
Postgraduate Professional Development Program established by the Faculty of Science to increase the relevance of its postgraduate education to the changing needs of professionals and industry in the disciplines of Computing, Electronics, Mathematics, and Physics.
