Rich Mildren is a Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor's Innovation Fellow in the Department of Physics and the MQ Photonics Research Centre. He brings more than 15 years of research experience in laser and light source development and their optimization for applications, which includes several in laser commercialization and medical device development. His main research interests are high power crystalline lasers, frequency agile lasers and short-wavelength lamps.
